Frequently asked questions

Cavity wall insulation leads to a warmer, cosier home by retaining heat for longer periods, which results in lower utility costs. Additionally, it can improve your home’s Building Energy Rating (BER), potentially increasing its resale value. Plus, there are generous government-funded grants available for eligible homes, making it an even more appealing option.

We are more than happy to assist you with your application.

We’ll start by visiting your home to conduct a thorough survey, ensuring it’s a good fit for cavity wall insulation. This includes checking for existing ventilation, assessing any additional ventilation needs, and taking precise measurements to provide you with an accurate quote. Once you’re happy with the quote and choose to proceed with us, we’ll schedule your installation. Keep in mind, weather plays a role in our scheduling – we’re unable to perform installations in the rain or freezing temperatures. On the day of installation, our team will arrive, and the entire process will only take a few hours. We’ll drill holes from the outside, pump in the insulation, and then fill and seal those holes, all without major disruption to your day. Should there be a need for any ventilation adjustments, we might need brief access to the interior of your home, but we’ll keep it as quick and unobtrusive as possible.
No, disruption is minimal. The majority of work takes place externally, and will be completed on the day. We would only need internal access if additional ventilation is required.
